Biota Laboratories Research and Development (R&D) Center is a leading-edge facility dedicated to developing advanced formulations for cosmetics, dermocosmetics, and dietary supplements. Our center is equipped with the most advanced analytical technologies, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography – Tandem Mass Spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS), Gas Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), and DNA-RNA protein imaging systems. We also have controlled environmental units critical for assessing product shelf life.
Our Scientific Advisory Board, composed of respected academics from Turkey’s top universities, lends its expertise to enhance our research efforts and drive innovation.
Within our facility, the Medical Department conducts clinical studies, efficacy tests, and safety assessments for our products. All regulatory matters are managed internally to maintain rigorous standards of compliance and quality. We are involved in product development through TÜBİTAK projects and collaborative partnerships with universities, enabling us to offer innovative solutions that meet market demands. Additionally, we contribute to the scientific community by publishing research in reputable international journals and sharing our key findings at international conferences.

The Biota R&D Center spans an impressive 800 square meters and is equipped with six independent laboratories, each designed to support our innovative research efforts.

In the last five years, we have successfully developed 500 unique cosmetic and dietary supplement products for our brands, including Bioxcin, Biobaby, Nutraxin, Biota 59 Elements, Bioblas, and Restorex, reflecting our commitment to quality and innovation.
A highlight of our initiatives is the Plant Research Center (BAM), which serves as a reference hub featuring over 250 plant species carefully identified and analyzed by our botanical experts. All Biota cosmetic products incorporate these exclusive plant extracts.
