Started in 2002, today Biota proudly exports to over 40 countries and stands as a symbol of excellence in health and beauty, both in Turkey and around the world. 

Inspired by the harmony between the human body and the earth – each of which are composed of 59 elements – we’ve always believed in the powerful collaboration between nature and science. This belief led us to create innovative, plant-based products rooted in the rich flora of Anatolia and backed by the expertise of Turkish scientists and dermatologists, we brought the health and beauty from plants to people.

We are based at  one of Europe’s leading GMP-compliant production facilities – a 35,000 square metre facility with hundreds of employees who research and produce only the best products.

Bioxcin

A story of 22 years of expertise inspired by the miracle of nature’s 59 elements.

Bioxcin, one of Biota’s largest brands, is the first to position itself as a ‘hair loss expert’ in the pharmacy sector and has been among the best-selling anti-hair loss shampoos since its launch in 2006. 

Bioxcin offers a herbal solution to hair loss with Biocomplex B11 – a patented ingredient which is the result of four years of R&D and proven effective by independent testing institutions. Biocomplex B11, developed by scientists at Biota Laboratories, is a unique herbal extract exclusively found in Bioxcin products. Using this extract, Bioxcin has developed six different products that address hair loss, establishing its place in the market. 

As well as specialising in hair loss, Bioxcin has expanded its expertise and developed many products for overall hair health. A milestone came with the launch of the Aquathermal series, developed using Turkey’s mineral-rich thermal waters – a first in the country. The dandruff care line in this series  stands out in the market, delivering up to 100% effectiveness. 

Since 2020, Bioxcin has expanded its R&D efforts to include many new areas of expertise in addition to its hair specialisation, including dietary supplements and skin health.
